The Lebanese Association of Food Scientists and Technologists organized a conference entitled Food Science, Technology and Environment on 26 and 27 of September 2019.
The Lebanese Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (LAFST) organizes this conference each year with the intention and objective of bringing together a unique mix of academics, researchers, professionals from the private and public sector, governmental institutions and ministries in order to share the newest studies, recent advances, statistics, information, ideas and solutions in the fields of food science, food industry, food processing, food product innovation, food technology and environment.
This year, the conference's main objective was to highlight the problems that the Lebanese food industry sector is facing nowadays and to put an effective plan on how to help in fixing these problems.
